IT Tech Support Level III

Salary: Php30,000.00 – Php40,000.00 per month

The IT Support will be responsible for providing third-level contact and problem resolution for all users with hardware, software and application issues. This individual will respond to requests for technical assistance in person, via the telephone or electronically. They will advise users of appropriate actions, follow standard operating procedures, and log all help desk interactions. This person will redirect issues to appropriate resources and identify or escalate situations requiring urgent attention.

Job Duties

  • Perform complex problem solving and assistance on diverse software applications and hardware systems
  • Perform diverse technical assistance, document findings and perform maintenance duties for a variety of user support needs
  • Maintain, update and audit record keeping systems; document projects, write and maintain user instructions
  • Oversee, maintain, and input applicable records such as, but not limited to, network users, security, and tracking inventory levels of equipment and materials
  • Perform advanced technological systems support, maintenance, and testing for proper upkeep of systems; troubleshoots and resolves complex system hardware, software, and network failures and conflicts
  • Participate in and/or lead the review, evaluation and recommendation of solutions relating to hardware and software acquisitions and/or network updates
  • Participate in and/or lead research and development initiatives and provide assistance in the implementation of new technologies
  • Oversee and perform the installation, configuration and maintenance of computers, networks, workstations and/or other related equipment and devices
  • Maintain currency of knowledge with respect to technology, equipment, applicable laws, regulations, standards and/or systems

Skills & Qualifications

  • Graduate of Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IT or any related field
  • 5 – 7 years experience as an IT Support or similar role
  • In-depth knowledge of hardware and software
  • Strong problem-solving, technical, logical, and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to work within deadlines
  • Ability to prioritize, delegate and has a keen eye for details
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong customer service and ability to work well with people and customer
